PITTSBURGH — Wide receiver Allen Robinson II passed a physical examination in Pittsburgh on Wednesday that was the final hurdle in making his trade from the Los Angeles Rams to the Steelers official, according to a report by Diana Russini of ESPN. The team has not yet officially announced the acquisition.
Robinson suffered a stress fracture in his foot that required season-ending surgery in November, so the deal was contingent on him proving his health to the Steelers’ medical staff.
In exchange for Robinson, the Steelers will move down 17 spots in the seventh round, swapping pick No. 234 for No. 251 overall in the 2023 NFL Draft. The Steelers also have a pick at No. 241.
