PITTSBURGH — He was known as a monster on the football field. He’ll now be known as a monster in the wrestling ring. Former Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker James Harrison has a major role in a new Starz program premiering in two weeks.

Harrison plays the character “Apocalypse” on the new show “Heels.”
The network’s website characterized the show as being about “the men and women who chase their dreams in the world of small town pro wrestling.”
The show will first air Aug. 15.
In 14 seasons with the Steelers, Harrison played in 177 games and tallied 80.5 sacks. He still holds the team record for sacks, with 2.5 more than Steeler Curtain legend L.C. Greenwood.
