PITTSBURGH — While questions remain at quarterback for the Steelers, they officially know they will be without several starters when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday night on WPXI.
The Steelers on Friday ruled TJ Watt, Joe Haden, Kevin Doton and Isaiah Loudermilk out for Sunday’s game with various injuries.
The Steelers take on the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday Night Football on Channel 11. Our pregame coverage begins at 6 p.m.
Linebacker T.J. Watt left last week’s game with a hip/knee injury that will keep him out this week as well. Cornerback Joe Haden and guard Kevin Dotson will be out for a foot and ankle injury respectively. Both missed practice all week.
Defensive lineman Isaiahh Loudermilk will not play after missing practice on Friday. Loudermilk landed on the injury report on Thursday with a groin injury.
Safety Minkah Fitzpatrick is still on the Reserve/COVID-19 List and will be out. Quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is also still on the Reserve/COVID-19 List as well and is questionable to be good to go come game time. The Steelers have to make an official decision on Roethlisberger and Fitzpatrick’s availabilities by 4:00 pm on Saturday.
Receiver Chase Claypool (toe) was a full participant during Friday’s practice as was guard Trai Turner (ankle).
