He’s best known by Steeler Nation for what he does during football season at Heinz Field, but before he was an offensive tackle in the Steel City, Alejandro Villanueva was an Army Ranger.
The veteran talks about his journey into the military in a video called “Something Bigger,” that the Players’ Tribune released on Memorial Day.

The 31-year-old served three tours of duty in Afghanistan after playing football at Army West Point.
