PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger suffered a hip injury during Sunday’s loss against the Green Bay Packers, head coach Mike Tomlin said Tuesday.
Tomlin said practice this week will dictate how things play out heading into the team’s next game against the Denver Broncos.
Roethlisberger already suffered a pectoral injury this season.

At his weekly news conference on Tuesday, Tomlin also said that Roethlisberger is “absolutely” the best choice at quarterback for the team moving forward. Tomlin maintained he’s still very confident Roethlisberger can get the job done, despite leading the team to a 1-3 record and struggling mightily last week against Green Bay.
