Steelers corner Joe Haden selected to Pro Bowl, replacing injured player

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers cornerback Joe Haden is headed to the Pro Bowl.

The Steelers’ top corner was selected Wednesday to replace Marcus Peters, who will not participate due to an injury.

Haden joins defensive teammates Minkah Fitzpatrick, Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt in the annual game.

According to the team, Haden finished the season with five interceptions, tied for the fourth in the NFL this season. He had 65 tackles, 59 of them solo stops, 17 pass defenses and a forced fumble and fumble recovery.

The Pro Bowl will take place Sunday, Jan. 26 in Orlando, Florida.
