PITTSBURGH — Steelers’ kicker Chris Boswell has been downgraded to “out” and will not play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday.

The team elevated kicker Matthew Wright to the active roster. This marks the second time this season that Wright has been called upon. In Week 13 against the Washington Football Team, he kicked a 37-yard field goal and made both of his extra point attempts.

Additionally, the Steelers signed linebacker Tegray Scales to the active roster. He was signed to the practice squad in November and was elevated to the active roster prior to the game against the Buffalo Bills in Week 14. He played in that game and the Week 15 game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Scales was on the practice squad for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and played for the Dallas Renegades in the XFL before coming to the Steelers.
