PITTSBURGH — A player for the Pittsburgh Penguins tested positive for COVID-19 but has recovered, the team announced on Thursday.

According to the team, the player is not in Pittsburgh and was isolated at home since first experiencing symptoms.
Anyone who came into contact with the player before his diagnosis has been notified.
In their statement, the Penguins said that health and safety remain their highest prioirty.
