PITTSBURGH — With the Pittsburgh Penguins locking up the No. 1 seed in the Eastern Division, this puts them in place to host the New York Islanders in the first round of the NHL Stanley Cup Playoffs.
The matchup was set after the Boston Bruins beat the Isles in overtime 3-2 on Monday.

So far this season, the Pens were 6-2-0 against the fourth-place Islanders. Two of their wins were in overtime.
This marks the sixth time the two teams will meet in the playoffs with the Penguins only winning one of those series, in 2013.
