PITTSBURGH — One hundred essential workers will be welcomed, free of charge, to Wednesday’s Pittsburgh Penguins game at PPG Paints Arena as a thank you for their work during the COVID-19 pandemic.
The Essential Workers Salute is courtesy of PPG and the Penguins. Winners of the Essential Workers Salute contest will get two tickets each (CLICK HERE to enter).
The contest begins Friday and ends at 12 p.m. Monday.
Among the essential workers eligible for tickets are healthcare professionals, police officers, firefighters, electricians, teachers, childcare and grocery workers, as well as those in transportation, restaurant and hospitality roles and environmental services.
