She's one of the women who will be representing Team USA on the ice: Mirai Nagasu, 24, is one to watch when it comes to figure skating.
Nagasu may be young, but she's already had a long career -- winning gold at the national championships at just age 14 before heading to the 2010 Vancouver Olympics.
She missed out on going to Sochi -- but plans to make up for lost time in Pyeongchang.
"I want it so badly. Like, I wanna be there. I want to prove myself, not just to myself, but to the judges. And so I put a lot of pressure on myself because I wanna do well. But, I think, I think when I'm in that mindset, and with the right focus-- I look back and think, 'Oh my God, is that me? That's (laughter) amazing.' Like...and I just enjoy that performance aspect of skating,” Nagasu said.
Nagasu came in second in this year's U.S. national championships and is aiming to earn a spot on the podium in South Korea.
