The only golf course located within Pittsburgh city limits, the Bob O'Connor Golf Course at Schenley Park is open to the public. The course was established in 1902 and is open year-round, seven days a week. While the course doesn't offer memberships, players can acquire a frequent golfer card for a discount on 10 rounds.

Diamond Run Golf Club features five teeing areas, some of which can be raised to help with distance. The course is designed to suit all skill sets, from amateur golfers to more experienced golfers. The course is losed to nonmembers.

Edgewood Country Club

Designed by Donald Ross, Edgewood Country Club is one of the oldest courses in Western Pennsylvania. Through the years it has been renovated to offer golfers a course full of rolling hills that measures 6,500 yards.

Not only is Olde Stonewall Golf Club one of Pittsburgh's best golf courses, but it's also been ranked by Golf Digest as one of the top 50 public courses in the country. Located 40 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, the course has bent grass greens and fairways, 91 bunkers and five sets of tees.

Pittsburgh National Golf Club is a challenging championship course designed by Ron Forse with bent grass greens, fairways and tees. The club is open seven days a week and offers a practice facility and grass driving range tee.

Shannopin Country Club

The 18-hole course at Shannopin Country Club has five different teeing options with varying distances, angles and pars, winding fairways and hilly terrain. There's also a full driving range, a short game facility with practice bunkers and a putting green. Golfing lessons for all skill levels are available for both club members and nonmembers.
