Pittsburgh's PNC Park: Visitors guide

PNC Park, home to the Pittsburgh Pirates baseball team, was opened in the spring of 2001 — it is the fifth park the Pirates have played in since the team formed in 1887. While it is a newer park, it was designed with some of baseball's most classic and time-honored venues in mind, including Wrigley Field and Fenway Park.

With fans in mind, the 38,000-seat PNC Park was designed to give every single seat a fantastic view, with the highest seat in the stadium only 88 feet away from the field. The ballpark sits along the Allegheny River with skyline views of downtown Pittsburgh and the riverfront. It's also surrounded by a variety of restaurants and retail stores for fans to enjoy before or after a game.
