A Wind Advisory has been issued for the entire region by the National Weather Service. Gusts could reach as high as 50 mph, so if you did put up any holiday decorations, you want to make sure they are secure before heading to bed. The advisory is in effect from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday.

Saturday night will be chilly and you can expect the temperature to drop to close to 40 degrees before rising slightly into Sunday morning.

Sunday morning will bring a chance for rain showers and the wind will ramp up. Rain will be likely during the afternoon when thunder will also be possible. Have your rain gear. Winds will be strong with sustained winds between 20 and 30 mph with higher gusts possible to 40 and 50 mph.

Temperatures will climb to near 60 degrees in the afternoon before falling through the rest of the day as the cold front pushes through.

Monday will bring a partly sunny sky with highs in the upper 40s. There will be a chance of a sprinkle or flurry late Monday night with the better chance of a rain or snow mix along the I-80 corridor. Light snow showers or rain showers will be possible Tuesday around the area with highs only reaching near 40 degrees.
