PITTSBURGH — The air quality will continue to improve through the weekend, so enjoy some time outdoors.
A Code Yellow Air Quality Alert has been issued for Saturday, a step down from Code Orange, indicating only mild impacts to unusually sensitive groups. Sunshine will help warm us up through the day Saturday as well, with dry weather expected.
Sunday starts dry, but you’ll need some indoor plans for Sunday afternoon and evening. A slow-moving system will bring showers back into the area as early as 4pm to 5pm with off and on showers and an isolated storm possible Sunday night.
The same system will keep wet weather in the forecast through much of next week with some areas picking up as much as 1″ of rain.
