Cold front to cause potential risk for severe weather

PITTSBURGH — Thanks to a south wind delivering more humid air to the region, the high will reach 82 degrees Sunday.

However, that wind will not last very long.

A cold front will approach the area later in the afternoon and cause a few showers to develop. A stronger storm is possible.

Any storm can include a heavy downpour and gusty wind, which would put the local area under the slight risk for severe weather.

TRENDING NOW:

The cold front will push through Monday, as will more showers and a storm.

Much cooler air will return Tuesday, with a high of just 64 degrees.
