PITTSBURGH — An afternoon or evening thunderstorm may briefly cool us off Friday, otherwise, our stretch of hot and humid weather continues into the weekend. The chance of seeing a thunderstorm in your area is slightly higher and any storm that develops could once again bring frequent lightning, heavy downpours, hail and gusty, strong winds.
Saturday could be the most uncomfortable day of this long stretch of hot weather, and while Sunday will also be hot and humid, heat relief rolls in to start the new week. Another round of potentially strong to severe storms could develop Sunday afternoon and evening as cooler, less humid air pushes in.
