PITTSBURGH — Widespread frost is likely early Friday morning, and some areas could see a hard freeze. A Freeze Warning has been issued for Lawrence, Armstrong, Indiana, Westmoreland, Fayette, Washington and Greene counties until 9 a.m., and a Frost Advisory has been issued for Allegheny and Beaver counties.
Cover tender plants with a cloth sheet or bring plants inside to prevent damage.
After a chilly start, sunshine will warm us back up into the mid-60s by the afternoon, making for great weather for Friday night football.
Saturday will be nice, too, so head to the pumpkin patch or other fall festivals. Showers return Sunday, with off-and-on rain throughout the day, and then it will be much cooler weather next week.
