Halloween temperatures will hit near-record warmth

PITTSBURGH — It will feel more like Labor Day instead of Halloween with near-record warm temperatures and 20-30 mph wind gusts. Thursday’s record high is 79 degrees set in 1950, and the warm, windy weather will push high temperatures near 80.

Rain showers return after sunset with most neighborhoods seeing wet weather after 9 p.m.

Much cooler weather moves in behind the rain showers Friday with highs about 20 degrees lower and topping out in the upper 50s to low 60s.

After a cold start in the 30s Saturday temperatures will slowly begin to climb with highs early next week rebounding into the 70s.
