PITTSBURGH — After Wednesday’s severe weather, more scattered showers and thunderstorms were expected throughout the day Thursday. Isolated pockets of heavy rain could produce localized flooding, and a few storms could be severe later in the day. Do not drive through flooded roadways.
Don’t put away those umbrellas just yet. A few rounds of showers and storms will roll through the area through late this evening. Watch for quickly changing conditions in some areas and be ready to head indoors if you hear thunder.
Friday will still have a chance of a few isolated showers or a storm in the morning. It will be a bit cooler with highs in the upper 70s. By Friday night it will be noticeably more comfortable. Humidity will be on the rise again Saturday, especially later in the day. Showers and storms will be around Sunday. Some of the rain could be heavy in one or two of the thunderstorms.
