PITTSBURGH — A severe thunderstorm warning has been issued for Allegheny County.
Rain showers and a few thunderstorms are possible Sunday across the Pittsburgh region.
Showers will become more widespread during the afternoon and evening hours as a front pushes the wet weather in from the west. There is potential for storms to develop in some areas.
Any storms that pop up could include gusty winds and heavy downpours, along with thunder and lightning.

Temperatures will reach into the mid-70s during the day.
Rain will begin to taper off late Sunday night as the weather dries up for Monday.
