PITTSBURGH — Unseasonably chilly air will be locked into place the next couple of days as high temperatures average 10 to 15 degrees below normal.
Northwest winds will usher in the early summer chill along with clouds and occasional rain showers. Off and on showers will be around through Thursday.

The most widespread rain showers will occur during the afternoon hours each day. A stray rumble of thunder can't be ruled out.
High temperatures will only make it into the 60s Tuesday and Wednesday. Much warmer air is on the way for the weekend, with highs in the mid-80s by Sunday.
