PITTSBURGH — Low clouds and fog in the area, drizzle and a mist are expected early this Christmas Eve evening. Temperatures will stay steady in the upper to mid-30s through the evening. Overnight lows will drop to the upper 20s and low 30s. Freezing drizzle or freezing mist is possible in the ridges/mountains this evening, watch for icy spots.
More clouds for Christmas Day. Temperatures will be around the freezing mark on Christmas morning and highs will rise to near 40 degrees late in the afternoon. A few spotty showers or flurries can’t be ruled out.
A warming trend is expected for the end of the week and highs will reach the mid to upper 40s. Temperatures rise to the 50s with a round of rain for the weekend.
