A Winter Storm Warning will be in effect for our area from 1 PM Sunday until 1 PM Monday. Snow showers will begin to develop from the south Sunday afternoon. The steadiest snow will fall across our area Sunday evening into Monday morning. Periods of heavy snow are expected at this time, with the potential of some mixing in spots. Travel will be dangerous Sunday evening and through the Monday morning commute. Several inches of snow are anticipated, snowstorm totals for the area will be between 5″-10″ with some spots up to 12″. You’ll want to keep checking back in as this snowfall forecast may change leading up to the event.
