Warm, muggy weekend with on and off showers, storms on the way

PITTSBURGH — It will be a warm and muggy weekend with on and off showers and storms.

There will be plenty of dry hours through Sunday.  However, several waves will come through the area over the next several days giving us a chance of showers and storms from time to time.

Some of the storms late Saturday afternoon and Saturday evening could be strong with gusty winds and heavy rain, but the thunderstorms will not be everywhere.  Have a plan in place to get indoors fast in the event of stronger storms.
