MILTON, Ga. — Former Pitt star LeSean McCoy retained a prominent Atlanta attorney a day after police in Georgia confirmed they are investigating a home invasion at a house he owns.
Mike Petchenik, a reporter at WPXI sister station WSB-TV in Atlanta, first reported that the Buffalo Bills running back hired Don Samuel, who said he's "getting up to speed" on the case.

Police said one woman claimed she was physically assaulted during the incident and was treated at an area hospital. A second woman also reported minor injuries.
According to police, the intruder demanded several items from the victims in the Milton home.
Another McCoy attorney, Jacoby Hudson, told Petchenik on Tuesday that McCoy had tried to evict his ex-girlfriend Delicia Cordon from the home, but she would not leave.

Hudson said McCoy filed charges against Cordon at one point, but felt bad that she was jailed and dropped them. He claims she then tried to extort McCoy.
Hudson said McCoy renewed the eviction petition last week and had cameras put in the house, but Cordon took them down and is now claiming she was injured in a home invasion, accusing McCoy of domestic violence.
Hudson said his client has been in Miami for the past several days and had nothing to do with the home invasion incident. Court documents show Cordon was slated to be in court Tuesday for an eviction hearing.

According to the Associated Press, Cordon's lawyer says McCoy orchestrated the attack.
Attorney Tanya Mitchell Graham said in a statement that her client was physically assaulted Tuesday morning by a man who entered the home with no signs of forced entry. The man demanded specific items of jewelry that had been gifted to her from McCoy, who had requested them back on many occasions.
"For the record, the totally baseless and offensive claims made against me today on social media are completely false," McCoy said in a statement released on two of his social media accounts on Tuesday. "Further more, I have not had any direct contact with any of the people involved in months."
